The Monstrum Tactical S2732-R-RGAO is a reliable tactical scope great for close to mid-range shooting. Crystal clear optics with 2-7x magnification. This scope has a functionally designed Rangefinder reticle for faster range estimation and holdover correction. The etched black reticle is always visible without illumination or can be lit red or green for better reticle visibility at night or low light environments. The adjustable objective (AO) lens can be moved by the parallax dial at the end of the scope. This setting allows for a sharper target image, elimination of parallax, and range estimation.
AO stands for adjustable objective (sometimes referred to as parallax adjustment). An AO scope allows you to adjust the objective lens of the scope, bringing the target image into focus with the plane of the reticle. When in focus with the plane of the reticle, the parallax effect is eliminated.
