Dynamo 2X Flip-to-Side Forward Magnifier

The Monstrum Dynamo 2x Forward Magnifier is a flip-to-side 2x magnifier that mounts to the front of your optic. Unlike traditional magnifiers, it is compatible for use with prism scopes, fixed, and variable magnification optics.

Traditional flip-to-side magnifiers are built for use with red dots. The magnifier mounts to the rear of the red dot sight to provide a magnified image and flips to the side when not in use. The magnifier has a fixed eye relief, so optic placement will be dictated by the eye relief of the magnifier relative to your head positioning. Because red dots have unlimited eye relief - the red dot magnifier combo allows you to maintain a fixed head position regardless of whether the magnifier is in place or not.

A traditional magnifier setup will not work with a prism scope, fixed, or variable magnification optic. The magnifier and the optic each have their own fixed eye relief at different positions on the rifle. You would have to adjust your head positioning and re-acquire your sight picture each time after engaging or disengaging the magnifier.

The Monstrum Dynamo Forward Magnifier mounts directly in front of your optic, magnifying the sight picture by 2x. It can be paired with prism scopes, fixed, and variable magnification optics without impacting eye relief or shooting position. The flip-to-side mount with quick engage mechanism allows for rapid transition between magnified and unmagnified use. The mount is reversible allowing you to flip to the left or right.

The Monstrum Dynamo Forward Magnifier weighs 9.8 ounces. It is 2.5 inches in length with a mounting footprint of 1.4 inches. It has a center height of 1.53 inches. It comes with two stackable spacers allowing for adjustment of center height from 1.5 to 1.93 inches. It is crafted from 6061 aluminum with a solid glass prism optical system.

The forward magnifier needs to be aligned with your optic using the windage and elevation adjustments before use. Improper alignment of the magnifier will result in a distorted image. Please view instructions before using.
