for Ruger American Rifles - Long Action
The Ruger American Short Action Picatinny Rail Mount is a dedicated optic mounting platform built specifically for Ruger American Short Action rifles, allowing for precision mounting of your preferred scope.
• The Picatinny rail section installs directly to the factory mounting holes in the Remington American Long Action Rifles via the included set screws.
• The rail sections are compatible with both Picatinny and Weaver based rings and optics.
• 7 inches or 16 rail slots in length, the rail allows for flexible placement of your optic for optimum eye relief and cheek weld.
• Available in two styles - a 0 MOA mount and a 20 MOA mount.
• Crafted from lightweight 6061 grade aluminum.
Compatiblity Guide:
The rail is compatible with Ruger American long action models ONLY.
Compatible with following cartridge chambers:
270 Winchester
300 Win Mag
30-06 Springfield
25-06 Remington
You can further verify whether your rifle is long action by measuring the distance between the screws on your receiver. If the distance between screws is 3.5 inches, then your rifle is a long action version and will compatible with this optic rail.
Not Compatible with:
Short Action or Rimfire Ruger American Rifles chambers such as:

Which MOA is right for you?
The 0 MOA mount is completely level and is suitable for zeroing your scope at short to mid range distances.
The 20 MOA mount is angled upward at 20 MOA. The angled plane gives you a higher range of elevation adjustment when zeroing your scope. It is suitable for zeroing your scope at long distances.
